Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health PRN
About the Role
Join the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) team at Twin County Regional Healthcare, a 12-bed unit providing adult, acute behavioral health treatment. With plans to expand the service, there's ample opportunity for professional growth as the team culture develops.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments
Requirements
- Current VA or compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Handle with Care certification required within 6 months of hire
- ACLS, PALS, and behavioral health experience preferred
- One year of med/surg or behavioral health experience is preferred

Pay
Hourly range: $31.49 - $40.38
