Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health Intake

About the role

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Fulltime: Nights RN to join their team. The position offers a competitive salary starting at $20,000 with a sign-on bonus eligible after a 2-year commitment. The role involves reviewing clinical documentation from referrals and accepting patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on patient conditions and ages
• Timely and accurate documentation of medical necessity in the medical record
• Completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Conduct timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license to practice/work in the state of NC
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• Handle With Care certification within 30 days of hire
• One (1) year of Psych experience required
• One (1) year of Intake experience preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
