Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health Float

About the role

Join the One Advocate Nurse community at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital, part of Advocate Health. You'll work with a float team in the Internal Behavioral Health Float division, covering various units including Adult Inpatient, Children/Adolescent Inpatient, Child and Adolescent Day Treatment, and Dewey Center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
• Coordinate care to ensure safe, therapeutic environments
• Lead efforts to improve patient safety and experience
• Provide and coordinate care using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making
• Communicate effectively to support the best patient experience

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Telemetry and ACLS certifications required within 6 months of hire
