About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Behavioral Health to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting and documenting initial and ongoing patient assessments using a multidisciplinary approach.
- Performing patient interventions with proficiency and age-specific competency.
- Verifying medication orders, scheduling tests, and ensuring proper documentation, including consent forms and pre-op data.
- Administering medications and IV therapies following policies, monitoring for adverse reactions, and ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to promote standards of practice and professional growth.
- Performing related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing required.
- Valid Multi-State RN License or equivalent, with certification in BLS CPR (within 7 days of hire); CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications within orientation.
- Previous clinical experience relevant to psychiatric or mental health nursing is preferred.
- Additional certifications such as RN-C are advantageous.
