About the role

Atrium Health Floyd Behavioral Health is a 53-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital offering inpatient and outpatient services for adults 18 and older, including a specialized unit for patients 60 and above. Common diagnoses include Anxiety Disorder, Mood Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and Personality Disorders.

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN), you will:

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and effective communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Schedule

  • Full time, 36 hours per week.
  • 3 shifts per week with alternating weekends.
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Pay

Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour.
