Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Promote effective communication using AIDET and SBAR
- Involve patients and families in care plans
- Utilize Teach Back methodology to confirm understanding
- Perform age-specific patient interventions proficiently
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain professionalism through education, standards, and ongoing growth
- Provide education and promote patient engagement to foster trust and understanding
- Communicate proactively about delays, procedures, and care changes
- Perform patient interventions with competency and professionalism
- Participate in handoffs and maintain clear documentation
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required
- Valid Multi-State RN license or license from the state of residence
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire
- CPI certification within orientation
Preferred Skills
- Experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing preferred
- RN-C certification is a plus
