Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patient acuity
- Obtain vitals
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations
- Perform point-of-care testing and lab specimen collection
- Assist with procedures such as splinting, wound care, and blood draws
- Provide comprehensive patient care using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and compassionate communication
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association
- 3 years of RN experience with urgent care, emergency department, intensive care unit, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
