Registered Nurse (RN)

Role Overview

The Wellness Nurse RN is responsible for overseeing resident health, ensuring medication safety, and maintaining regulatory compliance within a senior living community. Key duties include conducting assessments at move-in, semi-annual, and change-of-condition points, performing monthly wellness visits, monitoring health trends, and following up on incidents such as falls or hospital returns. They transcribe physician orders, oversee medication audits, and support medication program adherence. Additionally, they partner with families, physicians, and care staff to promote infection control and survey readiness. The role involves providing clinical guidance, training staff, and serving as a proactive resource to prevent resident decline through assessment and early intervention.

Qualifications & Skills

• An active RN license
• Graduation from an approved nursing program
• At least one year of senior care or clinical experience
• Strong assessment, regulatory, and communication skills
