REGISTERED NURSE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain patient condition and needs
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Follow narcotic policies and procedures
- Monitor for side effects and report changes
- Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure care plans are followed
- Admit and discharge residents, along with associated assessments and paperwork
QUALIFICATIONS
- Kansas Board of Nursing RN licensure
- CPR certification
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly and mentally ill
- Experience in mental health, medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing preferred but not required
- Trustworthy and respectful of others
- Dependable, professional, and a team player
- Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively
