About the role
Lakefront Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our caring and supportive team. We have been providing high-quality short- and long-term skilled nursing care, rehabilitation, and mental health programming for over 40 years. Our facility emphasizes community integration, helping residents—including those dealing with addictions and other mental health conditions—reintegrate into independent living through comprehensive programming and collaboration with agencies throughout Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive medication and nursing care as directed by their individual care plan
- Conduct resident assessments
- Serve as a team leader and advocate for residents
- Ensure residents are comfortable and safe
Qualifications
- Unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Prior RN or LPN experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate
