Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

Frazee Care Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. This role offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, clinical care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.
• Lead and support the care team by supporting CNAs and other direct care staff, communicating changes in resident status, and participating in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment by upholding infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols, promoting dignity, comfort, and respect in all resident interactions, and responding promptly to call lights and urgent care needs.
• Be a clinical and community leader by mentoring new staff, sharing knowledge with team members, collaborating with families and other departments, and representing the nursing team positively in community events and care conferences.

Requirements

• Licensure & Credentials: Active RN license in the State of Minnesota. CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience & Skills: Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills are essential. Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift.

Pay

$33.00 - 40.00 per Hour*

Schedule

2:00 - 10:30pm* Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required.
