About the Role
We are looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care to our residents. Join our team of healthcare professionals and work in a supportive environment with full training, tools, and equipment to deliver the highest quality care.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of our residents while ensuring all resident rights are protected.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Check residents daily to evaluate their physical and emotional status and ensure prescribed treatments are properly administered by nursing personnel.
- Keep the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff, and related matters.
- Implement recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
- Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, wound care, specimen collection, and other procedures as established by facility policies.
- Complete all required record-keeping forms/charts upon resident admission, discharge, or transfer, and file them appropriately.
- Give and receive nursing reports at the start and end of shifts.
- Investigate complaints and grievances, making necessary reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
- Maintain a professional image through dress, behavior, and speech while adhering to facility policies and standards.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- A caring and compassionate personality.
- Leadership and mentorship skills.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
