About the role
The Registered Nurse at Arbors at Carroll is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing comprehensive nursing care for residents. They also provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff members.
Responsibilities
- Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
- Affirms and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
- Sets up nursing care for team members according to the resident's needs and their capabilities and qualifications.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
- Administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments for assigned residents, and documents these treatments as required by company, local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
- Assists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
- Ensures that supplies are used efficiently and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
- Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
- Collaborates with other departments to coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures.
- Interviews applicants and recommends hires.
- Participates in counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations of staff, to the extent permitted by state practice act.
- Schedules and directs the nursing staff to the extent permitted by state practice act.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Valid RN license in the state employed.
- Valid CPR certification.
- One year of nursing experience preferred.

Pay
Starting Wages at $36.00-$50.15 per hour. Wage calculation is based on experience, shift, and a $8/hr weekend warrior program.
Schedule
