About the role
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Antepartum Unit in Women's Health. This full-time position offers a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. The Antepartum Unit specializes in caring for complicated, high-risk pregnancies, managing patients with conditions such as diabetes, pre-term labor, pre-eclampsia, addictions, mental health issues, and other medical or obstetrical complications. Patients may stay with the Antepartum team for days, weeks, or even months, ensuring they receive the necessary care to support their childbirth journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perinatal care to high-risk obstetrical patients.
- Manage care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including pre-term labor, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and mental health issues.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an ADN, BSN, or MSN.
- Active nursing license.
- Previous experience in Women's Health is preferred.
