Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN | Home Health Visits for Okeechobee

About the role

Provide compassionate home health care services to patients in their homes. Perform a variety of nursing tasks including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with healthcare team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Passing score on a background check

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in computer systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
