About the role

As part of Cincinnati Children’s Pediatric Air & Ground Transport Team, you’ll deliver ICU-level care in unpredictable environments, partnering with pilots, paramedics, physicians, and families to safely move critically ill children to the care they need.

This position requires night shift availability between the hours of 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical care to pediatric patients during air and ground transport
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pilots, paramedics, and physicians
  • Operate in dynamic, high-pressure environments

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with 3+ years of pediatric ICU experience
  • BSN from an ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institution (required for new hires; see Qualifications for details)
  • Active Ohio RN License (may require additional state licensure)
  • Night shift availability (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Qualifications

  • Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institutions require 2+ years of experience
  • If hired without a BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete within 5 years
  • Preferred: BSN or MSN from an ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institution

Pay

Base pay range: $37.00 - $41.40 per hour, plus:

  • $5/hour critical care pay
  • $4/hour night shift differential pay
  • $4/hour weekend differential pay

Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status.

Schedule

  • Part-time (0.6 FTE)
  • Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • 24 weekly hours
