Join the Adult Behavioral Health Unit (24 beds) at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, a rewarding setting for professionals passionate about mental health. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, located in Winston-Salem, NC, is an 885-bed tertiary care hospital and part of a nationally recognized academic health system. The campus houses the region’s only children’s hospital, burn center, and Level I adult and pediatric trauma centers, along with a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and clinical centers of excellence in multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • At least one year of RN experience.

Schedule

  • Night shift: 3 – 12-hour shifts per week.
  • Weekends only.
  • Hours per week: 35.1.

Pay

Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour.

A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.
