REGISTERED NURSE (RN) (ADN or BSN) - Operating Room

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within three months of employment.
• Current ACLS or obtained within twelve months of requirement notification/hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) certification in area of specialty preferred.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to cope calmly and politely in stressful situations.
• Ability to use and troubleshoot various medical equipment.
• Able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients. Supervise and delegate care and tasks to other personnel. Coordinate and document care provided by the nurse. Make decisions about changes in patient conditions and report verbally and in writing to the healthcare team. Expose to anesthetic gases, noxious odors, and airborne viruses.
