Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit.
• Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients.
• Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
• Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
