Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nursing care, performing assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments with precision and adherence to physician orders.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  • Lead and coordinate care by supervising LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Identify and mitigate safety risks, ensuring a secure and supportive patient environment.
  • Play an active role in quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of best practices.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in Illinois required.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification required within one year of hire.

Qualifications

  • New graduates and experienced RNs welcome.
  • Mets credit range for Clinical Ladder levels:
    • Clinical Nurse I: 0-12 credits, BSN preferred.
    • Clinical Nurse II: 13-24 credits with evidence of performance across two categories, BSN preferred.
    • Clinical Nurse III: 25-35 credits with performance across three categories, BSN or 30+ years of experience required.
    • Clinical Nurse IV: 36+ credits with performance across three categories, BSN or MSN enrollment/completion required.

Pay

Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus. Starting salary range: $30.23 - $48.37 per hour.

Schedule

Full-Time Night Shift.
