Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and emergency health services to students
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other patient privacy regulations
• Manage chronic condition case programs and coordinate referrals
• Oversee wellness services, including mental health, dental, and medical staff
• Maintain medical records, medication administration, and inventory of supplies
• Act as liaison with hospitals, health agencies, and insurance providers
• Support and mentor staff, ensuring quality care and accountability
• Participate in wellness programs such as HEALs (Healthy Eating, Active Lifestyles)

Requirements

• Associate of Arts degree in Nursing or higher required
• Active, unrestricted nursing license in NY
• 3+ years healthcare experience required (1+ year in supervisory role)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain student confidentiality
