Core Responsibilities
- Maintain and assess medical concerns of program participants.
- Provide routine and emergency nursing care to program participants.
- Offer nursing and medical in-services to staff at various facilities.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners on medical matters.
- Certify and re-certify all AMAPs as needed.
- Review and respond to incident reports.
- Provide on-call telephone coverage as necessary.
- Complete required documentation and reports according to program regulations.
Qualifications
- AAS degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current and valid NYS RN license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel).
