Registered Nurse (RN) 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants’ day-to-day functions.
• Coordinate all aspects of a resident’s care with other disciplines in the facility.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the physician.
• Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Document all resident information and notify physician and family as needed.
• Assist in the Admission/Discharge process.
• Complete accident/incident reports and follow-up investigation process.
• Participate in the care planning process, including care conferences and updating plans as needed.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all disciplines to ensure resident needs are met.
• Tactfully interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
• Participate in continuing education programs.

Requirements

• Must have a current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
