Registered Nurse - 2nd shift

About the role

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to the residents
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations
• Follow instructions from the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in the state of Kansas
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience
• Experience working with individuals who have complex medical needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
