Registered Nurse (RN) $12,000 Sign On Bonus. 12 Hour Shifts

About the role

The Quarters at Des Peres seeks compassionate and thoughtful individuals to join our team. We partner with skilled nursing centers to support a small team environment of caring professionals.

Responsibilities

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• Provides services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Sets up nursing care assignments based on resident needs and team members' capabilities
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents treatments as required
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is clean and maintained safely
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience preferred

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Maintains a working email address and phone number for employer communication
• Communicates effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Reacts decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Maintains confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
