Registered Nurse - Resource - Full Time

About the role

This role involves supporting and educating nursing staff to deliver timely and accurate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Promote quality patient care by guiding staff, assisting with patient care rounds, mentoring, and fostering staff development.
• Act as a clinical resource, encouraging growth, competency, and critical thinking, while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Provide exemplary patient and family service, model clinical excellence, and address staff training needs in collaboration with the Education Department.
• Maintain professionalism through personal appearance, emphasizing cleanliness, orderliness, and safety.

Requirements

• Tennessee nursing license
• Diploma or degree in nursing
• Certification in CPR/BLS within 90 days, ACLS and Arrhythmia training within 6 months
• At least five years of experience in medical-surgical and/or critical care settings
• Proficiency with standard patient care equipment, computer systems, telemetry monitors, and medication systems
• Able to work under pressure and lift up to 250 lbs with assistance
