About the role
Join our team as an on-call Registered Nurse providing comprehensive patient care in a community health setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient visits, gather health histories, obtain vital signs, and document in the EMR system.
- Perform phone triage, assess patient needs, and coordinate follow-up care.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments, including IV starts, while educating patients on medications and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans, coordinate referrals, and provide patient education.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing or a valid RN license; dual licensure in WA & OR required within 120 days
- BCLS certification within 90 days; ACLS & PALS preferred
Skills Required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Proficiency in nursing procedures, medication effects, and EMR systems
- Strong communication, multitasking, and patient interaction skills
- Ability to assess diverse patient needs across age groups
