Responsibilities

• Provides for patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) aligned with the mission statement.
• Organizes, supervises, and coordinates care provided by supportive personnel and ancillary services.
• Includes patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Educates patients, SO, and families about their disease process and plan of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all areas of care related to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation.
• Performs patient assessments pre- and post-procedure.
• This position requires call.

Requirements

• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care experience.
