Registered Nurse - R5 Oncology

About the Role

R5 is a unit that specializes in Oncology and End of Life care. We work closely with our Palliative care team, whose office is located on R5. Oncology care ranges from symptom management, radiation, Chemo (IV and oral), medication side effects, and Oncological Emergencies. When starting on R5, you will not be required to hang IV chemo for the first 6 months to one year. Once you become comfortable with the R5 population, we will train you in chemo administration.

This is a Full Time (36hr/wk) Night Shift position. On-call is not required.

Incentives include a $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to tax withholdings and prorated for part-time positions (additional terms and conditions apply).

Requirements

• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York
• Appropriate experience in the specific clinical area (varies by unit)
