Registered Nurse - Quality Assurance - Full-Time Days

About the role

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation, accurately assigning diagnoses and codes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role involves reviewing documentation, coding accuracy, staff education, regulatory adherence, and supporting quality improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. Candidates should have a nursing background with certification in OASIS and ICD10, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and auditing clinical documentation, including 485s, OASIS, and final claims
• Educating clinical staff on documentation and Medicare guidelines
• Participating in staff orientation and ongoing education
• Maintaining knowledge of federal, state, and local billing and documentation regulations
• Transmitting OASIS data to the state and ensuring accuracy of coding and documentation
• Collaborating on audits, PI projects, and special initiatives
• Serving as a resource for clinical teams and ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• RN license (single or multi-state compact) with a minimum of 3 years of home health experience, preferably in QA
• OASIS and ICD10 certifications strongly recommended
