About the role
Seeking passionate registered nurses to join an innovative educational unit focused on training upcoming graduate nurses. This 18-bed Medical Telemetry unit cares for patients with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio during day shifts. Nurses will serve as preceptors, mentoring two senior nursing students responsible for total patient care, with clinical support available.
Responsibilities
- Act as a preceptor to nursing students, guiding their clinical skills and patient care.
- Provide high-quality patient care in a teaching environment.
- Support the development of future nurses through mentorship and oversight.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the state or via compact licensure.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS and BLS required within 90 days of hire.
