Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Quality Management in managing efficient, cost-effective operations of performance improvement functions for the assigned PAM Health hospital(s).
- Coordinate with DQM, hospital, and medical staff leadership to foster a culture of safety by designing, measuring, assessing, and planning activities to improve patient care and organizational functions.
- Serve as a liaison with accrediting and regulatory bodies such as TJC, CMS, and Department of Health.
- Assist in providing direction and support to the medical staff regarding medical staff quality measures.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required; must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
