About the role
Join a dynamic Pulmonary Progressive Care unit as a Registered Nurse, providing specialized respiratory care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, and pulmonary embolism.
- Perform focused respiratory assessments and early interventions for escalating oxygen and ventilatory needs.
- Manage advanced respiratory procedures including tracheostomy and ventilated patient care, CPAP/BIPAP therapy, chest tube management, and administration of blood products and IV fluids.
- Monitor and support respiratory devices and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, preferably with a Bachelor's degree.
- At least one year of acute nursing experience.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state and BLS certification.
- Ability to perform advanced respiratory assessments and interventions.
