About the role
We are seeking a qualified Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, competent nursing care in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Lead psychoeducation sessions for patients, families, and groups
- Participate in program development and updating treatment plans
- Collaborate with community agencies to establish mental health networks
- Chart sessions and ensure accurate documentation of patient care
- Assist with initial pre-certifications, concurrent reviews, and reviews of physician orders
- Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a mental health setting preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Valid South Carolina RN licensure
