Registered Nurse - PRN - Toyota Onsite

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to exam room
• Prepares patients for examination and treatment
• Aids practitioners during examinations and treatments
• Draws blood and prepares paperwork for laboratory pickup
• Performs urine drug screens, ensuring proper chain of custody
• Maintains exam rooms, lab area, and treatment rooms
• Stocks and reorders supplies as needed
• Assists in medical record maintenance
• Performs front office clerical duties such as answering phones, check-in/check-out, and record processing
• Dispenses medications as directed by practitioner
• Maintains and operates clinical equipment
• Performs ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director
• Provides excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers
• Ensures accuracy in drug screens, DOTs, bandaging, dressing, and quality assurance checks
• Documents results and paperwork accurately and promptly
• Delivers an excellent, compassionate, and warm patient experience
• Manages time, prioritizes, and multi-tasks in a busy environment
• Adapts to changing business needs, including scheduling and working additional shifts
• Assists in other areas to ensure an excellent patient experience
• Seeks out opportunities for additional clinical training and self-development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
• Current registration/license in the state where employed
• Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT certifications

Qualifications

• One year of demonstrated experience in occupational health nursing or related field
• Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state-specific)
• Working knowledge of clinical operations
• Ability to train medical assistants under the direction of the Center Medical Director
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education

Schedule

1st shift: 8:00am-4:30pm
2nd shift: 4:00pm-12:30am
3rd shift: 12:00am-8:30am
