Registered Nurse - PRN, Emergency Department

About the Role

Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Guthrie, Oklahoma, providing care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients. Our unit has a Patient/Nurse ratio of 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to deliver coordinated, excellent care and facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.

This is a PRN position offering flexible hours and scheduling with varying/rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• None required; at least six months of experience as an LPN or RN preferred.
• Physical demands: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
• Other unit-specific certifications as required (training provided by Mercy during orientation if not already certified)
