Registered Nurse - PRN Days

Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members. Coordinates patient care across departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Adheres to organizational mission, values, and standards. Unit Details: Works in an 18-bed Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patients with pulmonary, cardiac, telemetry, and complex medical conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, renal disease, and diabetes. Gains experience in telemetry monitoring, respiratory care, medication management, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN)Current RN license in the state or compact licensureAmerican Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, or obtained within 90 days of hire Key Skills: Strong clinical skills, effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to care standards. Ability to handle complex medical conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
