Registered Nurse - PRN Days

Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns with organizational standards. Unit Details: Works in an 18-bed Medical-Surgical unit caring for diverse adult patients with pulmonary, cardiac, telemetry, and complex medical conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, renal disease, and diabetes. Gains experience in telemetry monitoring, respiratory care, medication management, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN)Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensureAmerican Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, or obtained within 90 days of hire Key Skills: Strong clinical skills in telemetry, respiratory and medication management, patient education, and teamwork.
