Registered Nurse - PRN - Behavioral Health

About the role

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights, and upholds confidentiality. Performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license for the state or compact licensure, with adherence to licensing requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, or other unit-specific credentials may be required based on the department.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
