About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of Patient Care Services with responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process, utilizing independent judgment, collaboration, and communication with all team members including ancillary, multidisciplinary care, and support services. The RN develops a plan of nursing care, utilizes established clinical pathways and protocols, implements care delivery, and supervises the delivery of care by the team. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, revises the plan of care as needed, and prepares patients for discharge.
Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to manage patient care and delegate activities based on patient needs and team skills.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, and care management in a team-based care model.
- Monitor patient progress and revise the plan of care as needed.
- Prepare patients for discharge through safe and effective discharge planning.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse License (essential).
- Less than one year of experience (essential).

Pay
$50.00 to $52.50 per hour.
