Registered Nurse –PRN
About the role
Apart from providing in-home client assessments and clinical support, this role also involves developing individualized plans of care based on assessments, providing clinical oversight to the care team, completing required documentation, and ensuring care plans are compliant with North Carolina home care requirements. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, with ongoing needs throughout the week, particularly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Travel to clients' homes and complete comprehensive nursing assessments
- Develop individualized plans of care based on findings
- Provide clinical oversight and support to the care team as needed
- Complete required documentation and communicate findings to the care team
- Assist with keeping care plans current and compliant with North Carolina home care requirements
- Provide additional assessment and clinical coverage as agency needs arise
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Dependable and responsive communication
- Dependable Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday availability strongly preferred
- Ability to respond reliably to agency assessment and clinical needs
- Home care, geriatric, or community health experience preferred — but not required
- Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality
- Current TB test required

Pay
$35-$38/hr based on experience
Schedule
Ongoing needs throughout the week, particularly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Occasional evening or weekend opportunities as client needs arise.
