Registered Nurse (PRN)

Job Summary

The RN is at the forefront of Proactive MD’s clinical operations and is a champion of our Patient Promise: “We are only and always about the patient. We Promise to fight for their greatest good.” The duties of this role will include performing clinical functions as directed by the provider in the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments, including vital signs and pre‑examination procedures with appropriate medical equipment.
• Document objective and subjective data and assessments in the patient record.
• Assist providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures, and follow‑up care.
• Provide patient health counseling and instruction, including meetings with families and caregivers.
• Complete medication reconciliation, management, patient compliance, inventory, and education.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Triaging calls for urgent appointments, referring for patient consults and testing, handling insurance pre‑certification, and documentation as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active and in‑good‑standing Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
