Registered Nurse Premium Pool PRN

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Float Pool RN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will have the unique ability to “float” between several different areas across the nursing spectrum.

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is a 323-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala, Florida, part of Ocala Health, an ACS Level I Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center. The hospital offers orthopedic, cardiovascular, emergency, neurological care, robotic and weight loss surgery, and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis
• Provide plan based care with a commitment to continuous improvement

Requirements

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation
• Associate Degree; BSN preferred
• 2 years’ of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of hire
