Location: Cedar Park, TX – Cedar Park Medical Center, Department of Preadmissions Testing
Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. No on‑call, no weekends.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive medical history reviews and in‑depth health assessments to identify clinical anomalies, ensuring each patient is medically optimized for a safe surgical outcome.
- Provide pre‑operative counseling to patients and families, explaining surgical procedures, preparation protocols, and post‑operative recovery plans.
- Act as a liaison between multidisciplinary teams by initiating physician consultations and ordering essential diagnostic testing to streamline the surgical pipeline.
- Manage surgical timing, discharge logistics, and inpatient planning to maximize unit efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Registered Nurse credentialed by the Texas Board of Nursing, obtained prior to hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school/college or professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences
- 3 + years experience in Preadmissions Testing and/or floor RN roles.
