Preadmission Testing Nurse

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive preadmission assessments, reviewing patient histories, medications, and test results.
• Identify risk factors to optimize patient readiness for surgery.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Obtain informed consents and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary services.
• Document all activities accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
