Registered Nurse - Pre-Operative Care

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Applies the nursing process to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinates and delegates care in a safe, respectful environment.
• Ensures patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality are maintained.
• Utilizes evidence-based practices and technology to enhance patient outcomes.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Supports the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in nursing and RN licensure in Florida.
• Preferred candidates have two or more years of RN experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Supervision

• May oversee nurse externs, LPNs, techs, unit secretaries, and patient care assistants.
