About the role
Full-time, night shift Post Surgical Registered Nurse position in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide professional patient care, manage staff assigned to the RN, and serve as a Charge Nurse when needed. The role requires strict adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional patient care in a post-surgical setting
- Manage and supervise staff assigned to the RN
- Serve as Charge Nurse as needed
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
- Valid New Mexico Nursing license or NM compact license
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 14 days of hire)
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Two years of experience in a nursing specialty
- Two years of general nursing experience
