About the role

Vi at La Jolla Village is located at 8515 Costa Verde Blvd, San Diego, CA 92122. This is a full-time PM shift position (3pm-11:30pm).

Responsibilities

As an RN you will be responsible for providing superior care to assigned residents, to include:

• Assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of administered treatments
• Quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Supervision of several talented staff members
• Establishing relationships with the resident, family, and other members of the health care team

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in California
• Working knowledge of long-term care
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to become certified
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
• Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly (preferred)
• Courteous and professional manner in all interactions
• Resident and customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting
• Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn

USD $49.75 - USD $55.00 per hour
