Job Summary and Qualifications
The Transport Coordinator oversees daily activities and staff to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities include coordinating staff efforts, enhancing staff knowledge through educational programs, and improving patient outcomes through quality improvement processes.
- Coordinate efforts to meet patient and customer needs.
- Develop and implement educational programs.
- Perform chart audits for quality improvement.
- Anticipate and improve staffing based on unit needs.
- Collaborate on projects to enhance unit quality.
What Qualifications You Will Need
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nurse Pediatric Course (NPN) within 1 year of employment start date.
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NR) within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 30 days of employment start date.
- Survival Teaching (STABLE) within 30 days of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year of employment start date.
