About the role
Renders professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well being of patients.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Maintains patients' medical records on observations.
- May assist physician during treatment and examination of patient.
- Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions and education to the patient.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
- Cardiology/CVTS: ACLS Certification
- PREFERRED: Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing, ACLS
